will teach you how to create a 9 tone value scale using Microsoft Word. You
will create a table; change the background color of a table cell and label
the chart. Create a 1 row by 9 column
table from the Insert Table icon or from the main toolbar Select TABLE > INSERT
> TABLE from the Insert Table box make your choices and click OK. Your
table appears.
Next, right click on the
table to open the menu. Select TABLE PROPERTIES > ROW > Click the SPECIFY
HEIGHT box, and then enter 2 to increase the box size.
Number each column. Click
inside box 2. Select > BORDERS AND SHADING > SHADING > in the FILL color box SELECT the gray
tone #4 GRAY 12.5%. It is
important to also SELECT the APPLY TO: CELL before you click OK. Repeat the
process in each box, increasing the value by 12.5 percent each time. 9 TONES of Black and White
